Strategize key financial areas including USAA’s technology organization that represents 25% of USAA’s expenses or 3.5 billion dollars. Advises team members on advanced financial analysis and complex financial processes, applying sound financial principles and best practices. Ensures all work is completed in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal controls.\nWe offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to bein the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TXorCharlotte, NC.\nRelocationassistanceis available for this position.\nWhatyou'lldo:\nLeads, develops, and motivatesthe team to provide advanced analytics and insights around key business drivers.\n\nAnticipatesopportunities to tackle the most complex and / or unique business problems, providing proactive financial solutions with holistic and forward-looking perspectives to enable better decision making by senior management.\n\nConsistently interacts with seniormanagementbecoming their trusted advisor on all financial issues.\n\nMakerecommendations to solve short-term, as well as strategic financial business problems.\n\nTeachesand mentors others about complex financial processes, business drivers and systems ensuring information sharing and knowledge transfer.\n\nReviewsanalystswork andassistsmanagement in assigning tasks and managing workflow.\n\nLeads initiatives to develop an integrated enterprise planning process from multiple companies and/orstaffagency processes and technologies.\n\nDirects analyses and guides the development, enhancement, and implementation of critical processes, programs, and technologies.\n\nAnticipates opportunities and potential solutions, leads cross-functional teams through the problem resolution process, andadvisessenior management on issues.\n\nAcquiresand applies expert knowledge of the business, itsproductsand processes.\n\nPerforms complex and often unique work assignments and problem resolution across multiple systems, functions, or processes.\n\nEnsuresrisks associated with business activities are effectivelyidentified, measured,monitored, and controlledin accordance withrisk and compliance policies and procedures.\n\nWhatyouhave:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.\n\n8years of experience conducting complex analysis andprovidingactionable insights to various stakeholders.\n\nExperience using databases and applications to analyze complex business domains (for example:AI, includingGenAI, data center, cloud,orcyber).\n\nExperience communicating key business and financial concepts that result in strategic decision making.\n\nWhat sets you apart:\nVeteran or military-affiliated professional with experience in Cyber Command, DISA, Pentagon operations, acquisition programs, or technology modernization initiatives.\n\nVeteran, DoD, or defense contractor professional with experience in cyber, procurement,logistics, acquisition, technology integration, or AI-related programs, combined with strong financial analytics, business partnering, and executive communication skills.\n\nExperience presenting recommendations to senior leaders or directors.\n\nDemonstrated ability to support large technology organizations and complex investment portfolios is highly preferred.\n\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $127,310- $243,340.\nUSAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
