Engaged in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting, and implementing software, responding to outages.\nWe offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nWhat you'll do:\nDesign, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions\nInvestigates and resolves complex application and system technical problems and production issues through solving techniques.\nContinually improves operations by conducting complex systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.\nPrepares and installs complex solutions by figuring out and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.\nFollows the software development lifecycle.\nParticipates in design reviews and learns key system design principles.\nMentors junior engineers and may begin mentoring peer engineers; Review teammates’ code.\nEnsures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.\nWhat you have:\nBachelor’s Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be used in lieu of a degree OR Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT (Veterans for IT) or eFIT (Employees for IT).\n3 years of software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s).\n2 years of experience delivering technology solutions in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle to include leading code/design reviews.\nUnderstanding of one or more of the following: Java, JavaScript, C++, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Python\nDeveloping level of business insight in the areas of business operations, risk management, industry practices and emerging trends.\nExperience supporting efforts to address production issues through fixing applications and systems.\nExperience articulating technical challenges and solutions.\nBasic understanding of cloud technologies and tools.\nWhat sets you apart:\nEnterprise level experience with Java Full Stack & Batch and Groovy.\nExperience building APIs with Spring Boot Ability to design and implement container-based APIs using Docker\nWorking experience with build frame frameworks such as Gradle or Maven, Software Version control systems based on GIT and CI/CD frameworks based on GitLab CI\nExperience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks\nStrong knowledge with OpenShift, AWS and Cloud Platform Infrastructure.\nExperience developing for application that account for security, scalability, and performance\nExperience with Control-M, batch process, data pipeline, data integration, Snowflake.\nExperience with solution design experience.\nExperience with data integration and automated data processing.\nExperience with Web Application and Docu-Sign integration.\nExperience with workflow, BPM technologies - EWL or Flowable.\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $93,770.00 - $179,240.00.\nUSAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
