USAA roles may offer remote or hybrid flexibility for active-duty military spouses consistent with applicable policy and business needs.\nThe Opportunity\nThe Program Manager will partner across Digital Technology, Member Value, Architecture, Risk, and other enterprise teams to coordinate a portfolio of member-facing digital platforms, including mobile, web, IVR, chat, personalization, and conversational technology. This role will manage demand intake and prioritization, maintain integrated roadmaps and milestones, surface cross-platform dependencies and decisions, and drive portfolio governance and executive reporting. The Program Manager will help ensure platform investments remain aligned with business outcomes while enabling product and engineering teams to stay focused on delivery.\nWe offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nWhat you'll do:\nMaintains program strategies commensurate with the level of risk, size, and complexity to ensure individual efforts align with organizational goals.\nParticipates in analyses, root cause identification and development and recommendation of key work products.\nFacilitates meetings with executive management and project sponsors to define solutions.\nNegotiates agreements, settles disputes equitably and diffuses situations.\nAdheres to Project Management Office processes, procedures, controls, standards, tools, and templates (as required).\nAdheres to governance rigor required for work efforts.\nDrives the adoption and sustainment of changes within the organization in compliance with USAA's Change Management methodology.\nEnsures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.\nWhat you have:\n4 years of project or program management experience, including experience defining or establishing a new program.\nDigital technology or contact-center technology experience.\nProficient knowledge of project, program, or portfolio management principles.\nExperience evaluating solutions and program priorities against organizational goals.\nProficiency with program-management tools, processes, and methodologies.\nUnderstanding of risk-management policies and procedures.\nStrong stakeholder-management and cross-functional coordination experience.\nExperience managing demand intake, prioritization, roadmaps, milestones, and dependencies.\nWhat sets you apart:\nExperience managing a portfolio of digital platforms or customer-facing technology products.\nExperience supporting mobile, web, IVR, chat, personalization, conversational AI, or API platforms.\nExperience creating integrated roadmaps across multiple products or technology platforms.\nExperience coordinating initiatives that span multiple lines of business and enterprise teams.\nExperience tracking OKRs and connecting program activity to measurable business outcomes.\nExperience supporting executive governance and preparing leadership-level presentations.\nProficient experience with USAA’s change-management methodology or a comparable industry methodology.\nUS military experience gained through military service or gained as a military spouse / domestic partner\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $85,040.00 - $162,550.00.\nUSAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
