USAA roles may offer remote or hybrid flexibility for active-duty military spouses consistent with applicable policy and business needs.\nThe Opportunity\nWe are seeking a strategic Marketing Program Manager Senior to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance marketing priorities and deliver measurable business outcomes. This role will translate the marketing strategy into integrated roadmaps, establish effective governance, manage risks and dependencies, and align stakeholders across Marketing, Technology, Analytics, Risk, Finance, and external partners.\nIn this role, the Program Manager Senior leads the execution and governance of large-scale, multi-year programs, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, program health, scope, deadlines, and intended benefits. The role also supports cross-functional teams in developing and executing change plans in accordance with USAA’s change methodology or industry best practices.\nWe offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Charlotte, NC, Colorado Springs, CO, or Tampa, FL.\nRelocation assistance is not available for this position.\nWhat you'll do:\nDefines and maintains program strategies commensurate with the level of risk, size, and complexity to ensure individual efforts align with organizational goals.\nResponsible for providing input and recommendations on multi-year business plans to deliver business capabilities and define execution approach to achieve business goal while reducing risk and delivering early business value.\nFacilitates meetings with executive management and project / program sponsors to define solutions and delivery.\nPrepares reports that provide stakeholders and management with status updates to include identifying risks or issues.\nPerforms analyses, root cause identification and development and recommendation of key work products.\nNegotiates agreements, settles disputes equitably and diffuses situations.\nNegotiates program tradeoffs with IT and the business as the program develops to ensure alignment of demand to capacity.\nAdheres to EPMO processes, procedures, controls, standards, tools, and templates (as required).\nAdheres to governance rigor required for work efforts.\nDrives the adoption and sustainment of changes within the organization in compliance with USAA's Change Management methodology.\nEnsures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.\nWhat you have:\nBachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.\n5-6 years of project and / or program management experience, including experience defining a new program and/or managing large-scale projects.\nProficient experience in Principles of Project, Program or Portfolio Management to develop multi-year business plans.\nProficient knowledge of program efforts management tools and methodologies.\nUnderstanding and demonstrated application of risk management policies and procedures.\nKnowledge of program management methodology and techniques; program performance evaluation and change management principles.\nExperience maintaining and reporting on work effort(s) budgets / methodologies.\nProficient experience in USAA's change management methodology or similar industry change management methodology.\nDemonstrated experience using knowledge of the business, its products, and processes to assess program risks and rewards across multiple technologies and business goals.\nWhat sets you apart:\nExperience leading complex, cross-functional marketing programs from planning through benefits realization.\nStrong integrated planning, governance, budgeting, resource management, and executive reporting capabilities.\nDemonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, decisions, and change.\nAbility to influence and align business, marketing, technology, analytics, risk, compliance, finance, and external partners.\nExperience with marketing operations, MarTech, data, analytics, measurement, campaign delivery, and vendor management.\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 and enterprise project or portfolio management tools (Jira Work Management and/or Adobe Workfront).\nPMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or comparable certification preferred.\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $103,450 - $197,730.\nUSAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
