The Senior IT Change Coordinator for Network Services provides technical governance and release coordination for enterprise network changes. Working with network engineering, security, infrastructure, application, telecommunications, operations, and vendor teams, this role assesses connectivity and service impact, coordinates maintenance windows, and ensures network changes include appropriate redundancy, validation, and recovery planning.\nProvides governance, risk oversight, and release coordination for enterprise network infrastructure. Ensures network changes are assessed, coordinated, tested, and implemented with minimal impact to business operations and technology services. Contributes to improvements in network change quality, service reliability, and Change and Release Management practices.\nWe offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position will be based in San Antonio; TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.\nWhat you'll do:\nFacilitates complex or large IT change requests meeting with change requestor to review, audit, and ensure change requests meet regulatory standards.\nDrives direction of appropriate rigor level based on the technical complexity and potential impact of change.\nIdentifies quality issues within the department contributing to IT service delivery issues and ensure their resolution/success.\nPartners with internal and external SMEs to improve, synchronize, automate, and integrate process controls to include integration with other ITIL disciplines.\nUnderstands application of process controls and their interaction, and anticipates, mitigates against them and/or ensures resolution.\nAssists in internal and external reviews on the effectiveness of the configuration management operations at USAA.\nServes as escalation point for junior team members on moderately complex issues.\nRecognizes and escalates issues for proactive communication to stakeholders and provide guidance toward resolution.\nProvides consultation around IT change and release management tools, process and artifacts.\nInfluences how the IT Change and Release organization and roles interrelate with the respective customers and other ITIL disciplines.\nMay lead medium to large scale implementations.\nEnsures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.\nWhat You Have:\nBachelor's degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.\n6 years of IT change management, release management, infrastructure operations, platform engineering, or technical project management experience. Advanced knowledge of ITIL, enterprise infrastructure, and operational controls. Demonstrated experience with servers, operating systems, virtualization, storage, middleware, hybrid cloud, resiliency, and maintenance coordination.\nAdvanced knowledge of enterprise network technologies, operations, and maintenance practices.\nAbility to evaluate network dependencies, redundancy, implementation plans, and rollback strategies.\nDemonstrated experience coordinating complex network maintenance and modernization activities.\nAdvanced facilitation, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.\nStrong understanding of service availability, operational risk, and regulatory control expectations.\nWhat Sets You Apart:\nITIL 4, Cisco, Juniper, cloud networking, or relevant network certification.\nExperience with software-defined networking, network automation, or infrastructure as code.\nExperience supporting large-scale financial services, highly available, or regulated networks.\nExperience with network observability, performance management, or telecommunications services.\nCompensation range: The salary range for this position is: $103,450- $197,730.\nUSAA does not provide visa sponsorship for this role.
