The full range is $127,200 to $190,800\n\nSr. or Lead BI Developer Overview:\n\nWe are seeking an experienced BI Developer to design, develop, implement, and support data solutions that help the business make informed decisions. This position may be filled at the Senior or Lead level, depending on the selected candidate’s experience, technical expertise, and demonstrated leadership.\n\nIn this role, you will develop dashboards, reports, data extracts, governed datasets, ETL/ELT processes, data marts, and other BI solutions. You will work with business and technical partners to translate complex requirements into reliable, secure, supportable, and cost-effective data solutions. You will also help maintain development, testing, documentation, change management, data governance, security, and production support standards.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\n\nDevelop and support BI reports, dashboards, data extracts, governed datasets, and ETL/ELT processes.\n\nSupport data integration, data mart, reporting, and analytics solutions from source systems through downstream consumption.\n\nTranslate complex business requirements into technical specifications, source-to-target mappings, and solution designs.\n\nPerform complex data analysis to support requirements gathering, metric definitions, source validation, and data-quality reviews.\n\nConduct unit testing and assist with output validation, reconciliation, and business acceptance criteria.\n\nTroubleshoot reports, data extracts, ETL/ELT processes, scheduled jobs, and production data solutions.\n\nPerform root-cause analysis for data, reporting, and pipeline issues and document resolution steps and preventive actions.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including business rules, data lineage, technical specifications, runbooks, and support procedures.\n\nSupport testing, user acceptance testing, change management, and release planning.\n\nSupport data governance, metadata, lineage, data quality, access control, and reporting governance expectations.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve the performance, reliability, efficiency, automation, and supportability of existing solutions.\n\nServe as a senior technical contributor or technical lead for projects, enhancements, and corporate initiatives.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring:\n\nAdvanced SQL skills using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or another leading relational database management system.\n\nAdvanced experience developing reports and dashboards using tools such as Microsoft Reporting Services, Power BI, Business Objects, or Cognos.\n\nStrong experience developing ETL/ELT processes using Microsoft Integration Services or other data integration tools.\n\nExperience supporting data extracts, data integrations, data marts, governed datasets, and downstream reporting or analytics.\n\nExperience with dimensional data modeling and data warehousing methodologies.\n\nExperience designing or maintaining OLAP cubes, semantic layers, or data models.\n\nKnowledge of data-quality processes, including validation, exception reporting, reconciliation, and data-quality metrics.\n\nWorking knowledge of production support practices, including scheduling, orchestration, monitoring, incident triage, root-cause analysis, and operational readiness.\n\nExperience preparing technical specifications, source-to-target mappings, business rules, lineage documentation, runbooks, or support procedures.\n\nWorking knowledge of data governance, metadata, stewardship, reporting governance, access controls, and the secure handling of sensitive data.\n\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with both technical and business partners.\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n\nFive or more years of related experience in IT, business intelligence, data engineering, data integration, reporting, or analytics delivery.\n\nExperience developing and supporting enterprise data solutions in a production environment.\n\nEquivalent military experience may also be considered.\n\nLead-Level Opportunity:\nLead-level candidates will have greater depth in data integration, ETL/ELT, data modeling, data warehousing, data quality, and production support.
