Your primary responsibility will be to conduct thorough vascular ultrasound assessments on patients, specifically targeting the lower extremities, while ensuring an exceptional patient experience throughout the process.\nPosition Details:\nLocation: This is a float Ultrasound position, required to commute to Bethpage, Stony Brook and Valley Stream clinics.\nSchedule: Full-time. Open schedule availability and able to work on weekends is required.\nCompensation: $40-$45 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform vascular ultrasound studies including venous insufficiency, venous reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex examinations.\nPerform additional vascular imaging studies if applicable such as carotid, arterial duplex, ABI, DVT, and PVR testing.\nIndependently perform and document ultrasound examinations while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.\nSupport patient care within a vein clinic, vascular laboratory, or related vascular imaging environment.\nUtilize PACS and EMR systems to document studies, manage images, and support clinical workflow.\nApply broad sonography knowledge when appropriate, including experience with general ultrasound modalities such as OB/GYN and abdominal.\nRequirements\nGraduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Ultrasound program, required.\nCurrent RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist), RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist), or RPhS (Registered Phlebology Sonographer) credential, or eligibility to obtain certification within 90 days is required.\nDemonstrated experience performing venous insufficiency, reflux, venous mapping, and venous duplex studies is preferred.\nAbility to independently perform vascular ultrasound examinations and produce high-quality diagnostic images, required.\nStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a patient-focused healthcare environment, required.\nBenefits\n Health insurance
