The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional service while working with luxury vehicles.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n· Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.\n· Operating dealership-owned and customer-owned vehicles safely.\n· Providing accurate and trustworthy diagnoses and repairs to maintain customer trust.\n· Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.\n· Save and tag parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.\n· Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.\n· Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.\n· Documents all work performed and recommendations on the repair order.\n· Road tests vehicles.\n· Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.\n· Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.\n· Using and maintaining expensive tools and equipment.\n· Inspects and tests drive newly delivered vehicles for obvious damage and missing major components and drivability functions\n· Keeps the shop area neat and clean.\n· Maintains and holds accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals.
