This role combines modern data engineering practices with product thinking to build high-quality data assets that are discoverable, governed, and reusable across the enterprise. The engineer partners with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, data scientists, and platform teams to deliver data products that align with strategic business outcomes.\nRoles & Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, deploy, andmaintainenterprise data products and reusable data assets.\nBuild scalablebatch, streaming, and event-driven data pipelines.\nCreate domain-oriented data products that support analytics, reporting, operational processes, and AI initiatives.\nDevelop semantic models and curated datasets to enable self-service analytics capabilities. \nDesign andoptimizeETL/ELT pipelines for structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.\nIntegrate data from enterprise platforms, APIs, and cloud-based systems.\nImplement scalable ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks.\nBuild resilient solutions that support enterprise-scale data processing and consumption. Implement data quality validation, observability, monitoring, and remediation processes.\nEnsure data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, consistency, and reliability.\nPartner with governance teams toestablishmetadata and lineage practices.\nDevelop solutions using modern cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar environments.\nLeverage data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Synapse, Fabric, Redshift, orBigQuery.\nOptimizeplatform performance, scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.\nImplement secure access controls and data protection standards.\nSupport regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements.\nContribute to data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage \nImplement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps/DataOpsbest practices.\nCreate technical documentation, architectural diagrams, support guides, and operational runbooks.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience / Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or relatedfield.\n\n5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Product Development, or related disciplines.\n\nStrong SQLexpertiseandproficiencyin Python, Scala, Java, or similar development languages.\n\nExperience building modern ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration solutions.\n\nHands-on experience with Azure, AWS, or cloud-native data platforms.\n\nExperience with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Redshift,BigQuery, or equivalent platforms.\n\nStrong understandingofDataModeling,Data Warehousing,Metadata Management,Data Quality,Cloud Architecture,Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. \nShift Timings - 11 AM - 8 PM\nLocation - Chennai\nLocation expectations This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week\n\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nPosting may be closed earlier due to high volume of applicants.\nThis is an U.S. Bancorp India posting.
