Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at-all from Day One.\nJob Description\nRoles & Responsibilities\nLead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise data products and domain data assets.\nEstablish engineering standards, design patterns, reusable frameworks, and development best practices.\nGuide technology decisions across cloud, data platform, integration, and analytical ecosystems.\nReview solution designs for scalability, resiliency, maintainability, and security.\nPartner with Data Product Leads and business stakeholders to define priorities and execution plans.\nTranslate business outcomes into technical implementation roadmaps.\nLead delivery of strategic data products supporting enterprise data initiatives.\nEnsure products meet functional, performance, quality, and governance requirements.\nMentor and coach engineers across technical and professional development areas.\nSupport hiring, onboarding, skill development, and succession planning.\nDrive engineering excellence through code reviews, design reviews, and quality assurance practices.\nFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.\nDrive platform optimization, cost management, observability, automation, and reliability initiatives.\nCollaborate with enterprise architecture and platform teams on long-term technology roadmaps.\nEstablish monitoring frameworks for data reliability and service-level expectations.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory, risk, privacy, and security requirements.\nLead development of trusted data products supporting AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics.\nDrive adoption of feature stores, semantic models, and analytical datasets.\nManage technical debt and modernization strategies across data product portfolios.\nExperience / Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.\n8+ years of progressively responsible experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering.\n3+ years of technical leadership experience leading engineering teams or strategic initiatives.\nExpert-level experience with:\nSQL\nPython and/or Scala\nCloud Data Platforms\nSnowflake\nDatabricks\nData Warehousing\nData Modeling\nDistributed Processing Frameworks\nExperience delivering enterprise-scale cloud data solutions.\nStrong knowledge of CI/CD, Agile, DevOps, DataOps, and engineering governance frameworks.\nDemonstrated ability to influence technical strategy and align engineering execution with business outcomes.\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nPosting may be closed earlier due to high volume of applicants.\nThis is an U.S. Bancorp India posting.
