Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at-all from Day One.\nJob Description\nWe are seeking a skilled Data Product Engineer to build, test, deploy, and support scalable data pipelines and data products on modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, and Azure. This role works within an engineering team to translate defined business and technical requirements into reliable solutions, apply established engineering standards, and contribute to production support and continuous improvement.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Product Engineering\nBuild and enhance data pipelines and data products using Snowflake and AWS and/or Azure services.\nParticipate in the delivery lifecycle, including requirements clarification, component design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and optimization.\nImplement technical designs and reusable patterns defined by senior engineers or solution architects.\nDevelop data transformations, ingestion processes, and orchestration workflows that meet functional and non-functional requirements.\nQuality, Standards & Continuous Improvement\nFollow established coding, testing, security, data governance, and CI/CD standards.\nWrite maintainable code and complete unit, integration, and data quality testing.\nParticipate in code and design reviews and incorporate feedback into deliverables.\nContribute ideas, reusable components, and small proof-of-concept efforts that improve quality, speed, or reliability.\nOperational Excellence\nMonitor and support data products in production, troubleshoot issues, and complete root-cause analysis with guidance as needed.\nImplement logging, monitoring, alerting, lineage, and operational controls for assigned components.\nMaintain runbooks and technical documentation and participate in incident resolution and follow-up actions.\nPartner with platform and application teams to resolve environment, access, integration, and deployment issues.\nCollaboration & Delivery\nWork with business analysts, product owners, engineers, and platform teams to translate requirements into working solutions.\nEstimate assigned work, identify dependencies and risks, and provide clear status updates.\nCollaborate effectively in a global delivery model across time zones and cultures.\nRaise blockers early, respond constructively to feedback, and support shared team outcomes.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience \nFive to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience \n Preferred Skills/Experience \nHands-on experience with Snowflake, including Snowflake SQL, data loading, data modeling, and basic performance tuning.\nExperience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, or EMR and/or Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse, or ADLS.\nExperience building ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration workflows.\nProficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python or a similar programming language.\nWorking knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.\nUnderstanding of data quality, security, governance, cataloging, and observability concepts.\nFamiliarity with modern data architecture concepts such as cloud data platforms, Lakehouse, event-driven integration, or Data Mesh.\nLocation Expectations:\nThis role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nBenefits:\nOur approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
