Try new things, learn new skills and discover what you excel at-all from Day One.\nJob Description\nThe FP&A Analyst, Reporting & Process Enhancement, supports the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of financial reporting, management dashboards, and planning processes. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders to enhance reporting capabilities, streamline manual processes, and improve the delivery of financial insights.\nThe ideal candidate is analytically curious, detail-oriented, and interested in leveraging technology and process improvement techniques to make financial reporting more efficient, accurate, and impactful.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nReporting & Analytics\nPrepare recurring management reports, financial dashboards, and performance scorecards.\n\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes.\n\nMaintain reporting packages used by senior management and business leaders.\n\nGather, validate, and reconcile financial data from multiple systems and sources.\n\nAssist in the creation of visualizations and reporting tools that improve understanding of financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs).\n\nReport Design & Simplification\nEvaluate existing reports to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.\n\nRecommend improvements to report layouts, data presentation, and business metrics.\n\nDocument reporting requirements and assist in translating business needs into reporting solutions.\n\nHelp eliminate redundant reports and reduce manual spreadsheet-based processes.\n\nProcess Improvement & Enhancements\nParticipate in projects focused on improving financial reporting and planning processes.\n\nSupport automation initiatives using reporting tools, databases, and business intelligence platforms.\n\nTest and validate reporting enhancements to ensure accuracy and completeness.\n\nDevelop and maintain process documentation and user procedures.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and data quality.\n\nStakeholder Support\nPartner with Finance, Accounting, and business teams to understand reporting needs.\n\nRespond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests.\n\nProvide support and training to users of financial reports and dashboards.\n\nDemonstrate strong customer service and responsiveness to stakeholder inquiries.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience\n\nTypically two or more years of related experience\n\nPreferred Skills/Experience\nExperience with data visualization and dashboard development using Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools\n\nFamiliarity with financial systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills.\n\nUnderstanding of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting concepts.\n\nExposure to process improvement methodologies or automation tools.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\n\n*This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.\nIf there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.\nBenefits:\nOur approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role.
