This role combines data engineering, analytics, automation, and operational intelligence to provide actionable insights that support technology strategy, operational excellence, risk management, and executive decision making.\nThe ideal candidate possesses strong technical skills in SQL, Python, Alteryx, API integration, and data transformation while adhering to software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, including source code management, testing, deployment, and release management.\nKey Responsibilities\nData Acquisition & Integration\nDesign and develop data ingestion processes from multiple sources, including:\nInfrastructure monitoring platforms\n\nCMDB and asset management systems\n\nCloud platforms (Azure, AWS)\n\nEnterprise databases\n\nREST and GraphQL APIs\n\nSaaS and third-party technology platforms\n\nBuild and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to acquire, cleanse, transform, validate, and enrich data.\n\nIntegrate structured and unstructured data from disparate technology systems into centralized analytics platforms.\n\nAutomate recurring data collection and processing activities.\n\nData Engineering & Transformation\nDevelop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data models.\n\nCreate Python-based solutions for:\nData extraction\n\nData transformation\n\nData quality validation\n\nAutomation workflows\n\nAPI integrations\n\nDesign and maintain Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending, and analytics automation.\n\nImplement reusable transformation frameworks and standardized data processing patterns.\n\nPerform data reconciliation and data quality assurance activities.\n\nAnalytics & Reporting\nAnalyze infrastructure and operational data to identify:\nTrends\n\nRisks\n\nPerformance issues\n\nCapacity constraints\n\nOptimization opportunities\n\nSupport executive reporting, operational scorecards, and KPI dashboards.\n\nTranslate technical findings into business-friendly recommendations and insights.\n\nPartner with infrastructure, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to support data-driven decision making.\n\nAutomation & API Development\nDevelop API integrations between internal and external platforms.\n\nBuild automated workflows that reduce manual effort and improve data timeliness.\n\nSupport near real-time and batch data processing requirements.\n\nCreate reusable libraries and utilities that accelerate analytics delivery.\n\nSDLC, DevOps & Release Management\nFollow established Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile delivery practices.\n\nMaintain source code in approved repositories (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).\n\nUtilize branching, pull request, peer review, and merging standards.\n\nDevelop and maintain CI/CD deployment pipelines.\n\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and deployment procedures.\n\nParticipate in release planning, change management, testing, and production deployments.\n\nEnsure appropriate version control, auditability, and governance of analytics assets and code.\n\nSupport incident management and post-release validation activities.\n\nGovernance & Compliance\nEnsure adherence to enterprise data governance, security, and compliance requirements.\n\nMaintain data lineage and metadata documentation.\n\nImplement controls for data quality, access management, and operational resiliency.\n\nSupport regulatory and audit requests related to analytics solutions.\n\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience\n\nFive to seven years of statistical and/or data analytics experience\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience analyzing infrastructure, cloud, or operational technology data.\n\nExperience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.\n\nExperience with Azure, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, or enterprise data platforms.\n\nKnowledge of Infrastructure Observability and Monitoring platforms (Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, ServiceNow, etc.).\n\nExperience with CI/CD tools and release automation.\n\nUnderstanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.\n\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale transformation or modernization programs.\n\nTechnical
