In this role, you’ll be responsible for new Injection Mold development from Part DFM through production approval. You will work closely with our mold making suppliers to deliver robust molds that consistently produce quality parts.\nThis position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical engineering backgrounds and hands-on experience in injection molding environments who thrive in fast-paced, precision-driven settings.\nResponsibilities\nFacilitate part Design for Moldability and mold tooling design reviews with internal and external stakeholders.\nTrack project milestones & communicate with key team members, internal customers, and\nStructures projects with clear well-defined objectives communicated to the supplier.\nDocument requirements and functional specifications to ensure supplier compliance.\nRecords all associated technical documentation including qualification results.\nCoordinates between internal customers, external suppliers, and supply chain to establish project priority and schedule.\nProvide weekly status reports of progress in all areas of tooling, qualification scheduling, tool transfers, and tool repair status.\nPlan, coordinate and attend all FAT activities on-site at suppliers\nProvide evaluation of testing results and direct all functional, dimension and visual correction and/or improvements\nManage all internal Mold testing and qualification tasks\nDeliver comprehensive mold documentation to facilitate a seamless hand-off to production molding and operations teams.\nMust Haves\nBachelor's degree in an engineering discipline from a four-year ABET accredited college or university\nMinimum 5 yrs experience in the injection molding industry with a focus on mold development\nStrong organization and communication\nDetail oriented with the ability to adapt to changes quickly\nStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skills\nExperience with 3D modeling software required: AutoCAD Inventor or SolidWorks\nExperience performing and interpreting Mold flow analyses (MoldEx 3D, preferred).\nFamiliar with engineering grade resins\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential\n4 weeks of PTO to relax and recharge\nHealth, dental, and vision plans to support you and your family\n401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match and planning resources\nA collaborative, team-based culture focused on innovation and quality\nPaid holidays and employee recognition programs\nOpportunities to work with advanced molding technologies and infrastructure systems\nSTEM outreach and community engagement initiatives\nUS Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
