The attorney will assist with part of the Office for New Americans Opportunity center and other programs as designated by the Associate Director of Humanitarian Legal Services.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nOffice for New Americans Opportunity Center\n· Responsible for overall oversight, financial management, staff training. and support\n· Report preparation and submission\n· Review and preparation of immigration applications\n· Preparation, presentation, and community engagement of immigration community workshops\nLegal Operations Support\n· Collect, review, and analyze legal data reports on a monthly basis\n· Respond and make referrals for legal inquires received through USCRI Headquarter channels\n· Create and/or update Humanitarian Legal Services standard operating procedures as necessary\n· Assist with legal funding development including collaboration on funding proposals\nDirect Representation\n· Provide direct legal representation as needed to support staff transitions and new program-ming.\n· Representation may include but is not limited to:\no Immigration Court Representation: including Master Calendar Hearings, Individual Hear-ings, Motions (Motions to Continue, Motions to Terminate, Motions to Change Venue, etc.), Voluntary Departure\no Attendance at USCIS interviews\no Application support including but not limited to: SIJS, Asylum, T visas, U visas, VAWA, Ad-justment of Status, Family-Based immigration, Consular Processing, TPS, EADs\nAll the above duties and responsibilities are essential job functions.
