Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on AWS.
  • Build and optimize batch and real-time data processing workflows.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-native data platforms using AWS services.
  • Design and manage data lakes and data warehouse solutions.
  • Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
  • Implement data quality, monitoring, and validation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Platform teams to deliver enterprise data solutions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize data pipelines.

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, including S3 Glue, Athena, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions, and VPC.
  • Strong experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data platforms.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Strong understanding of distributed data processing using Apache Spark.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and GitHub Actions/CI/CD.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, GitOps, Helm, or ArgoCD.
  • Experience supporting MLOps or AI/ML platforms.
  • AWS Certifications (Data Engineer or Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with generative AI or AI-enabled data platforms.
