Senior Cloud Developer

As a Senior Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting secure and resilient cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS. You will work closely with application, security, network, and operations teams to deliver reliable and compliant cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code, cloud networking, security, automation, and production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, provision, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure across enterprise and multi-account environments.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational activities using Terraform, Ansible, AWS Systems Manager, Python, and other automation tools.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment, and automation issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
• Implement cloud security requirements and support the remediation of security, compliance, vulnerability, and audit findings.
• Monitor and continuously improve cloud infrastructure availability, performance, resilience, security, and cost efficiency.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, technical standards, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with application, cybersecurity, network, cloud service provider, and vendor teams to translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable, and supportable cloud solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and project teams, participate in architecture and solution reviews, and promote engineering best practices across cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and operations.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise AWS cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS architecture and core services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, and multi-account AWS environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM and cloud security, including least-privilege access, access governance, security controls, vulnerability remediation, and audit and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC/GCC+) environments would be a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience performing root cause analysis and resolving complex production infrastructure issues.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages for cloud infrastructure automation and integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or equivalent.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams and communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at different levels.
