Usercentrics is hiring a Business Data Analyst - Acquisition Marketing to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role you will act as a dedicated BI partner to the Demand Generation team, optimizing lead generation, campaign performance and acquisition strategies. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver measurable impact.\nWe're hiring a hands-on engineer to build and own production systems across our full stack. You'll ship real features and platform components, hold your work and your team's work to a high quality bar, and grow your technical scope over time.\nHow we build has changed. You'll spend less time typing syntax and more time specifying intent, directing AI coding agents, and reviewing what they produce.\nYou own the correctness of everything you ship, whoever or whatever wrote the first draft.\nWe hire at two levels, Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. The level is set during the process based on your experience and the scope you've owned.\nYOUR TASKS:\nBuild, with AI as a core tool\nImplement features and platform components end-to-end, from design through production.\nSpecify, generate, review, and validate AI-generated code with the same rigor as your own.\nWrite tests, refactor, and improve the codebase as you go.\nPrototype approaches in real code before committing to them.\nRaise the bar on quality\nWrite maintainable, well-tested, production-grade code.\nGive thoughtful code reviews, with extra scrutiny on AI-assisted changes.\nContribute to observability, reliability, security, and CI/CD practices in your team.\nShare what works (and what doesn't) with AI-assisted development.\nDesign and decide\nDesign services, APIs, and components within your team's domain.\nMake pragmatic trade-offs between delivery speed and long-term health, and explain your reasoning.\nUnderstand the product\nConnect your work to product outcomes and customer impact.\nGive technical input on scope and prioritization instead of just taking tickets.\nWork with product and design to keep our data handling compliant and transparent.\nRequirements\nWhat we’re looking for\n5+ years of professional experience shipping production software.\nA track record of owning a system or domain end to end.\nEvidence that you’ve raised a team’s engineering standards through mentoring and technical influence.\nStrong proficiency in modern full-stack development, for example TypeScript/Node.js, .NET and React.\nDeep hands-on experience with AI coding tools, and the judgment to review and stand behind their output.\nSolid grasp of API design, distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.\nExperience running services in production on a major cloud provider. Containers and Kubernetes are a plus.\nThe ability to connect technical decisions to business outcomes and reason about cost and value.\nPragmatic judgment and comfort with ambiguity.\nNice to have\nExperience in privacy, consent management or another regulated-data domain.\nExperience introducing or scaling AI-assisted development practices in a team.\nHow we work: AI-native by default\nUsercentrics is pushing AI adoption across engineering, and we expect you to work this way from day one.
