We're a fast-growing, globally distributed team serving customers around the world.\nAbout the Role\nWe're looking for a People Operations Specialist to join our Operations team and help scale our people processes as we grow. You'll work closely with the Head of Operations to own the employee lifecycle end-to-end - from onboarding through offboarding - while helping build the systems and processes that let a lean team support a distributed, international workforce across the US, Ireland, and contractor markets.\nThis is a hands-on, generalist role for someone who enjoys both the operational rigor of process and compliance work and the human side of supporting employees day to day.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn onboarding and offboarding for employees and contractors across multiple jurisdictions (US, Ireland, and international contractor markets)\nAdminister payroll inputs and coordinate with finance/payroll providers across regions, including PTO accrual, overtime, and benefits administration\nMaintain HRIS data accuracy and ensure records are current and audit-ready\nManage and own recruiting operations: job postings, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and candidate communications\nDraft and maintain HR documentation, including offer letters, contracts, policy documents, and handbooks\nEnsure compliance with local employment law across jurisdictions\nSupport DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) processes and other data privacy obligations related to employee data\nPartner with managers on performance processes, employee relations matters, and policy questions\nContribute to compensation benchmarking and equity/pay-band maintenance\nWhat We're Looking For\n2+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Generalist, or similar roles, ideally at a SaaS or tech company\nExperience supporting employees across multiple countries (US and EU/Ireland experience is a strong plus)\nWorking knowledge of payroll fundamentals, PTO accrual structures, and benefits administration\nFamiliarity with HRIS platforms and applicant tracking systems\nStrong understanding of employment compliance basics (EEO, GDPR, local labor law)\nExcellent written communication skills; comfortable drafting formal HR correspondence and policy language\nHigh attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive/confidential information\nComfortable operating with autonomy in a lean, fast-moving team\nExperience with workforce analytics or device/MDM management coordination\nBenefits\nPrivate medical insurance\nHybrid structure: 3 days in office, 2 remote\n15 days PTO + public holidays\n14 days sick leave\nTraining budget, industry events, and conference access\nEEO Statement\nUserpilot is an equal opportunity employer.
