The selected candidate will originate new analytical methodologies, lead cross-discipline study teams, and produce decision-quality insights for senior leadership.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES:\nApply a wide range of operations research methods and techniques to define, structure, and resolve complex analytical problems in support of USSTRATCOM campaign and risk assessment objectives.\nDemonstrate expertise in quantitative techniques and methods - including optimization, simulation, statistical modeling, and system dynamics - to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models that address organizational challenges.\nParticipate actively in cross-discipline study teams, collaborating with planners, intelligence analysts, data scientists, and subject matter experts to deliver integrated, actionable insight.\nOriginate new ideas, projects, and methodologies to address complex organizational challenges across USSTRATCOM mission areas, including Strategic Deterrence, Nuclear Operations, and Global Strike assessments.\nExecute projects and studies within established financial and time constraints, producing quality deliverables on schedule.\nDevelop and utilize appropriate data collection techniques - including survey design, structured elicitation, and automated data extraction - to support analysis, modeling, and senior leader decision-making.\nApply Python and R for quantitative analysis, statistical computation, and model prototyping.\nDemonstrate familiarity with Agile methodologies, including contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.\nProduce graduate-level quality briefings and written reports presenting analytical findings to senior leadership; respond to technical questions on methodology and results.\nCollaborate with the USSTRATCOM J7 assessment team, Joint Staff, and interagency partners on matters requiring quantitative analytical support. \nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum 10 years of experience applying a wide range of operations research methods and techniques.\nDemonstrated expertise in quantitative techniques used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve complex problems or define alternative solutions. \nExperience participating in study teams and collaborating across disciplines to deliver actionable insight.\nProven ability to originate new ideas, projects, and methodologies to address complex organizational challenges.\nExperience executing projects and/or studies within established financial and/or time constraints.\nSkilled in developing and utilizing appropriate data collection techniques to support analysis, modeling, and decision-making.\nProficiency in Python and R for quantitative analysis, modeling, and statistical computation.\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies, including contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives. \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nDirect experience supporting USSTRATCOM assessments, exercises, or strategic deterrence analysis.\nExperience with the Joint Risk Assessment Methodology (JRAM) and related OR frameworks (Bayesian networks, System Dynamics, Vensim).\nFamiliarity with MAVEN Smart Systems, Tableau, or Power BI for model output visualization.\nExperience with Machine Learning model development and AI/ML pipeline design.\nPrior work in or with USSTRATCOM J7 assessment teams. \nEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:\nBachelor's degree in business analytics, computer science, data science, operations research, data analytics, actuarial science, mathematics, and/or engineering, or equivalent. \nREQUIRED CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI\nTRAVEL: TBD\nBenefits Offered: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, parental leave, pet insurance, paid time off, and holidays.\nUSfalcon has grown from our roots in 1984 to become a mid-tier professional services company supporting a diverse and global customer base of DoD and Federal Agencies.
