PLEASE APPLY DIRECTLY THROUGH OUR INTERNAL WORKDAY CAREER SITE\nJoin Our Community of Food People!\nJOIN OUR TEAM!\nReady to build a career with a company that’s leading the foodservice industry?\nAtUS FOODS, we are seeking a Repack Clerk who is eager to realize their potential, grow professionally, and become valued a member of our family.\nThis position starts at $25.00 per hour based on experience.\nSchedule:\nMonday - Friday \n11AM - 7:30PM \nBenefits:\nAll benefits are available starting Day 1! \nMedical, dental, vision for the whole family! \n401K, life insurance coverage and more! \nAs one of the largest food distributors, US FOODS boasts a culture built on promotion from within, comprehensive training programs, and an unwavering commitment to continuous improvement.\nAssist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organizatio n\nEvaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump)Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.\nRecord proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.\nProperly record all dumped product.\nAssist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.\nKeep work area clean and organized.\nOther duties as assigned.\nEducation/Training:\nHigh School Diploma/GED\nRelated Experience/Requirements:\nWarehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.\nKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:\nBasic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.\nAbility to work independently.\nSafely operate electric pallet jack.\nGood communication skills - written and oral.\nWorking knowledge of Excel.\nWilling and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.\nMust be dependable.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to work in a multi-temperature environment\nAble to stand for long periods of time.\nMust be able to lift up to 80 lbs.\nCompensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
