Maintenance Planner

CGC Inc. Is currently recruiting a Maintenance Planner for our Wheatland, Alberta plant.

Role & Responsibilities:

· Ensure Maintenance Planner activities are compliant with the RPM program.

· Build and incorporate establishment of the RPM model activities into the Wheatland Plant

· Responsible for expediting work orders and requests, scheduling both routine and non-routine electrical and maintenance related projects.

· Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of information on new maintenance work orders, determining parts and material requirements, providing a written job plan, cost estimates to include labour and materials to complete work in the most efficient manner

· Communicates information in the Job Plan Package to the Maintenance Foreman, Supervisor, or other Maintenance Planners as applicable.

· Responsible for all information needed to support the planning process from beginning to completion. This includes ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and readily available to those involved.

· Train as needed to learn new operating systems.

· Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or department manager to support the Wheatland plant.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Proven ability to work safely.

· Working knowledge of electrical and general plant equipment, operations, and maintenance activities is an asset.

· Experienced in using a Windows-based computer system and standard software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook), EAM, and barcode scanners for Oracle Inventory Management.

· Able to read and interpret prints and drawings as required.

· Able to self-start and complete tasks with little guidance or supervision.

· Effective communication skills with all levels of personnel, vendors, and contractors.

· Periodic travel may be required during the training period (US/CAN).

· Must be able to maintain positive relationships and seek to achieve conflict resolution for self and reports in a timely manner and with positive intent.

Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
