Organization:

Business Line RF Small Signal (BL RFss), located in Nijmegen, Nether­­lands develops and sells industry-leading RF components for a wide range of applications and a global customer base. Key develop­ment areas are RF ICs for wireless connectivity applications, wireless infrastructure base stations, satellite terminals, and a variety of RF compo­nents for the general market. Products in development are low noise amplifiers (up to 30 GHz), variable gain amplifiers, and highly integrated down converters. The technologies of choice are Si and SiGe:C BiCMOS processes, state-of-the-art in-house developed dedi­ca­ted RF processes with transistor cut-off frequencies up to 200GHz. Within the Operations & Quality team of BL RFss there is a vacancy for a Principal Quality Engineer.

Function:

The Principal Quality Engineer is responsible for:

  • Intrinsic quality in new developed products, compliant with customer quality requirements as well as NXP guidelines (QRS, DfX, Safe Launch)
  • Manage product qualification (risk analysis, qualification strategy, failure assessment, safe launch and monitoring plan)
  • Prepare and review gate documentation from the quality perspective and prepare go/no go decision
  • Quality interface to customers: customer requirements, customer quality documentation (PQP/PPAP/PCN/ Questionnaires), complaints, alerts and risk assessments, customer quality programs
  • Quality interface to diffusion/assembly/test-fabs (review ECN, qualification plans, waivers, 8D’s, risk-assessments, non-conformances)
  • Lead or participate in 8D-teams and drive quality improvement programs (Cost of Non-Quality, ppm-reduction, monitoring)
  • University degree (Physics, Electronics)
  • In depth knowledge of IC technology (diffusion process & package technology), quality & reliability
  • Expert knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, PDCA, DOE, 8D, 6σ etc) and application
  • Analytical thinker, problem solver
  • Good organizational skills, project leader skills and high level of independence.
  • Creative and taking initiative
  • High drive, result oriented and teamworker
  • Strong in communication, interaction, presentation and reporting.
  • Flexible in working off-office hours to ensure realizing commitments.

Your employment contract will be concluded with USG Engineering or one of our Partner companies and USG Engineering will take care of Work and Resident Permits
