Position Summary:
We are seeking a senior SharePoint Architect to lead enterprise-scale SharePoint and Microsoft 365 initiatives in a BFSI environment. The role owns platform strategy, future-state architecture, modernization, governance, business analysis, and delivery across SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Platform, RPA, and AI-enabled collaboration solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Architecture & Modernization:
- Own the SharePoint / Microsoft 365 platform roadmap and define scalable future-state architecture.
- Lead enterprise modernization and migration from legacy SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online, establishing architecture standards, governance, and security.
- Partner with business and IT leaders to map processes, identify automation opportunities, and mentor distributed teams.
AI-First & Agentic Microsoft 365 Solutions:
- Drive an AI-first development approach by embedding LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and conversational Bots into enterprise solutions.
- Leverage Claude AI / Claude Code and Model Context Protocol (MCP) to securely connect AI models with enterprise data and applications.
- Apply Responsible AI practices, grounding, and guardrails within regulated financial-services environments.
Business Analysis, Power Platform, RPA & Intelligent Automation:
- Architect end-to-end business flows and RPAs using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Utilize AI Hub in Power Automate for document intelligence, extraction, and classification.
- Migrate legacy automations from Alteryx, Automation Anywhere, and UiPath into Power Automate.
Governance, Security & Leadership:
- Establish platform governance, security, and lifecycle management across the M365 ecosystem.
- Provide architecture reviews, technical direction, and stakeholder communication for high-visibility programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, Engineering, IT, or related discipline.
- 10+ years overall experience with 6+ years of strong SharePoint / Microsoft 365 experience.
- Hands-on expertise in SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Practical exposure to AI-first development (LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, MCP) and Power Automate AI Hub.
- Strong business analysis, process-engineering, and stakeholder management skills; BFSI experience preferred.
