This role translates scientific, technical, and operational information for external audiences and supports alignment between content development and community engagement activities. The Supervisor, Technical Writer collaborates with technical experts, project leads, and communications stakeholders across regions and supervises the Community Engagement Specialist.\nHow will YOU create impact here at USP?\n As part of our mission to advance scientific rigor and public health standards, you will play a vital role in increasing global access to high-quality medicines through public standards and related programs. This includes training in equitable management practices and tools to promote engaged, collaborative, and results-driven work environments.\nThe Supervisor, Technical Writer has the following responsibilities:\nDevelop written content such as articles, briefs, reports, blogs, presentations, case studies, and other communication materials supporting AMT and Supply Chain Solutions initiatives.\nTranslate complex scientific, technical, manufacturing, and supply chain information - including technical outlines, interview notes, research findings, meeting summaries, and subject matter expert input - into clear, accurate, and accessible written materials for external audiences.\nCollaborate with subject matter experts and project teams to gather information, validate technical accuracy, and incorporate feedback throughout the content development process.\nSupport market-facing, educational, conference, and sales enablement materials that communicate USP's global AMT and Resiliency Center expertise, programs, services, and public health mission.\nEdit and refine draft materials to improve clarity, consistency, readability, and audience relevance.\nApply USP brand standards, messaging priorities, and scientific quality expectations to written materials.\nSupervise the Community Engagement Specialist and support alignment between technical content and community engagement activities.\nOther duties as assigned\nStrategic Value\nSupports USP's global AMT and Resiliency Center visibility in international and commercial markets by turning internal technical expertise into clear, practical materials for external audiences. \nStrengthens credibility and supports inbound interest by helping USP communicate AMT and Resiliency Center work in a consistent, audience-appropriate way. \nWho is USP Looking For?\nThe successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate strong writing and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively with technical subject matter experts and diverse stakeholders. \nMinimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least four years of related experience in technical writing, scientific communications, content development, or a similar role supporting technical or scientific audiences. \nExperience developing written content such as articles, briefs, white papers, reports, presentations, or similar materials. \nDemonstrated ability to translate complex technical or scientific concepts into content that is clear, accurate, and accessible to broader audiences. \nExperience supporting content development that involves input from multiple subject matter experts and stakeholders, including synthesizing technical feedback and incorporating it into clear, accurate written materials. \nStrong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail. \nAbility to manage multiple content assignments and deliver high-quality work within established timelines. \nSelf-directed work style with the ability to take ownership of assignments, move work forward with minimal direction, and exercise sound judgment in clarifying priorities when needed. \nComfort working with ambiguity, including the ability to clarify direction, synthesize incomplete information, and move assignments forward in evolving project environments. \nStrong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams. \nAdditional Desired Preferences\nExperience working with U.S.-based teams and stakeholders. \nFamiliarity with pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare, life sciences, supply chain, or other technical subject areas. \nSupervisory Responsibilities\nDirectly supervises the Community Engagement Specialist.\nBenefits\nUSP provides the benefits to protect yourself and your family today and tomorrow.
