The ideal candidate will have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. This position serves as the primary communicator between our internal field operations staff and outside inquiries in relation to current and potential Independent Contractor’s contracting and compliance. A sense of commitment to customer satisfaction and the ability to work well in a team environment are ideal for this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nMaintain the integrity of departmental records through timely and accurate processing of all required paperwork.\nReview daily requests to set up new Independent Contractors by reviewing incoming contracts and accompanying required documentation for compliance to company and legal standards.\nRun and analyze MVR reports and background checks for potential and existing independent contractors.\nFollow up with Operations Managers for missing or illegible contracting paperwork.\nAssist the Operations team with contracting issues and/or questions regarding the contracting processes.\nEnter required Independent Contractor data into industry specific software program.\nAssign vendor numbers to new Independent Contractors and communicate the assignment to the Operations team.\nHandle responses to Independent Contractor inquiries regarding driver opportunities, contracting requirements, and other driver related issues.\nPrepare reports and conduct analysis as requested.\nResponsible for the maintenance of all independent contractor files, including daily filing.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nMust be extremely detail oriented.\nHighly proficient computer skills must be able to toggle between multiple screens.\nAbility to understand the Independent Contractor relationship.\nMust be able to work with repetitive details and with routine responsibilities.\nMust have customer service and/or personnel support experience.\nMust be able to establish a high level of trust and credibility in the organization.\nMust be able to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be able to demonstrate quantitative and analytical skills.\nMust be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing at all levels of the\norganization.\nSoftware programs including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, Outlook and database software.\nAbility to lift 25 pounds on occasion.\nAbility to work overtime as necessary.\nEducation, Experience, Certificates, and Licenses:\nHigh school diploma or GED required.\nAssociate degree and/or bachelor’s degree in related discipline preferred.\n 2-5 years of previous administrative, legal, and/or compliance related experience required.\nCompliance and/or legal certificates
