This position is responsible to participate in the contracting activities associated with Independent Contractors (IC’s) that provide delivery equipment and transport products from our clients’ location(s) to designated locations as requested by the customer. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nIndividual tasks shall include but not be limited to the following:\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMonitor to ensure all routes are covered, IC check-in is complete and communicated to the customer, and that routes run on time. \nCreate route pursuant to customer requirements. Ensure IC that accepted dispatch provides the delivery services, and communicate changes to dispatch department and IC’s as needed.\nMonitor dispatch board to ensure customer requested delivery times are being met.\nCommunicate any delays and/or problems to the customer and dispatch department.\nEnsure IC’s are providing services in the vehicle type requested by the customer.\nEnsure compliance with IC log in process and EC-mobile.\nWork directly with IC’s to assist with issues they may encounter while under dispatch.\nAssist in arranging for STAT coverage for customers, as needed.\nWhen necessary, will restructure routes as requested by the customer, to ensure on-time execution.\nEnsure IC’s are providing contracted delivery services in compliance with customer regulations.\nAssist with contracting of IC’s as needed.\nComplete daily service reports as required by the customer.\nCreate and process administrative reports and paperwork as directed.\nFollow up with IC’s to ensure their paperwork is up to date, as needed.\nEnsure IC’s are providing services in a uniform shirt with visible ID badge, as required by customers for identification and security purposes.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nBasic MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, and Word) experience required.\nProactive and resourceful. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nIndependent judgment required to plan, prioritize, and organize competing tasks or demands that may be deadline driven.\nMust maintain valid driver’s license and clean, functional vehicle.\nAbility to develop and maintain meaningful business relationships with customers.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.\nAbility to work overtime as necessary.\nQualifications - Experience, Education, Certificates, and Licenses:\nCollege Degree or a High School Diploma with equivalent combination of education and experience.\nEmployees assigned to support Life Science customer(s) must successfully complete a TSA Security Threat Assessment and all required TSA security training prior to performing any function involving unescorted access to regulated cargo, and must obtain and maintain all required Life Science certifications within ninety (90) days of hire. These are bona fide, federally-mandated qualification standards and conditions of employment.
