On-site.\nJob Summary:\nUST is looking for a Lab Technicianto provide hands-on hardware, software, and infrastructure support for Client validation laboratories. The role focuses on system troubleshooting, equipment configuration, machine recovery, hardware maintenance, and ensuring reliable day-to-day lab operations.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, OS, and infrastructure issues.Diagnose system failures using logs, firmware data, BMC/iLO, monitoring dashboards, and engineering procedures.Configure and maintain servers, workstations, storage, network devices, and lab equipment.Perform machine recovery, firmware flashing and updates, hardware diagnostics, and system qualification.Install, replace, and upgrade hardware components and lab equipment.Support lab infrastructure setup, expansion, and equipment relocation.Monitor system health and ensure machines are ready for validation activities.Maintain accurate hardware inventory and asset information.Execute documented troubleshooting and recovery procedures.Document technical issues, recovery activities, and system changes.Coordinate with engineering and support teams and escalate complex issues when required.Support continuous improvement of lab processes and ensure compliance with defined SLAs and KPIs.Required Skills & Experience:Experience in lab operations, IT support, hardware support, or validation environments.\nGood knowledge of computer hardware, Windows/Linux operating systems, firmware, and networking.\nExperience with servers, workstations, storage, and network equipment.\nFamiliarity with BMC/iLO, system logs, monitoring, and hardware diagnostic tools.\nExperience with system recovery, firmware updates, hardware replacement, and configuration.\nGood troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a hands-on lab environment.\nPreferred Skills:\nExperience in semiconductor, hardware validation, test, or engineering labs.\nKnowledge of BIOS/UEFI, firmware, virtualization, and server hardware.Experience with inventory and asset management systems.Basic knowledge of Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
