The position plays a critical role in mitigating operational risk and driving continuous process improvements.\nKey Roles and Responsibilities\nCore Responsibilities\nTake full ownership of assigned portfolios and manage end-to-end reconciliation activities.\nMaintain, validate, and reconcile internal transaction records including income, fees, and other activities.\nMonitor outstanding items, aged breaks, and high-value discrepancies; proactively escalate risk items.\n\nHandle escalations efficiently and immediately escalate high-risk issues to Team Leads/Managers.\n\nCoordinate with custodians, counterparties, and administrators to resolve breaks and ensure compliance.\nEnsure adherence to SLAs, operational controls, and risk management standards.\nLeadership & Team Support\nAct as the first point of escalation for Analysts and Junior Analysts for BAU activities.\nGuide and support team members on aged items, high-value breaks, and complex queries.\nConduct initial quality checks on team output to reduce errors and rework.\nSupport training initiatives and actively participate in cross-training across processes.\nShare knowledge, process updates, and best practices within the team.\n\nProcess & Control\nReview, update, and enhance SOPs, procedures, and documentation.\n\nSuggest and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.\nMonitor shared mailboxes for urgent items such as overdrafts and debit interest queries and take immediate action.\nEnsure completion of all mandatory trainings within defined timelines.\nAct with integrity, transparency, and professionalism in all responsibilities.\nMust-Have Skills & Competencies\nTechnical / Functional\nStrong experience in reconciliations (custody, cash, and/or trade)\nSolid understanding of investment operations, transactions, income, and fees\nProven ability to analyze breaks, investigate discrepancies, and resolve complex issues\n\nExperience working with custodians, counterparties, and fund administrators\n\nStrong knowledge of operational risk, controls, and SLAs\nBehavioral / Professional\nHigh level of ownership, accountability, and
