# Data Scientist

Data Scientist The Role UST is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to develop advanced analytics solutions that identify sales anomalies, uncover business insights, and generate actionable recommendations for merchants. The ideal candidate will leverage machine learning, statistical modeling, and data science techniques to detect unusual sales patterns, understand drivers behind sales fluctuations, and provide prescriptive guidance on what merchants should do next to improve performance, revenue, and customer engagement. What You’ll Do Design and implement models to identify abnormal sales behavior across merchants, categories, products, and regions. Develop real-time and batch anomaly detection frameworks to detect revenue spikes and drops, sales trend deviations, inventory-related anomalies, pricing irregularities, promotion performance anomalies, and seasonal pattern deviations. Monitor merchant performance and proactively flag risks and opportunities.
