Visit us at .\n\nThe Opportunity:\n\nUST is looking for Firmware Validation (BIOS / BMC) & Python Automation Engineer.\nWe are looking for a skilled Python Automation Developer with experience in Firmware Validation to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation solutions for validating firmware features across server and embedded platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, automation framework development experience, and a solid understanding of firmware validation methodologies.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign and develop robust automation frameworks using Python.\nCreate and maintain automated test scripts for firmware validation.\nAutomate firmware feature, functional, regression, and system-level testing.\nDevelop tools for log collection, parsing, reporting, and failure analysis.\nStrong experience in BIOS / BMC Validation.\nPerform root cause analysis and debugging of firmware-related issues.\nCollaborate with firmware developers, validation engineers, and hardware teams.\nImprove automation coverage, execution efficiency, and test reliability.\nGenerate validation reports and test metrics.\nRequired Skills\nStrong programming expertise in Python.\nHands-on experience with PyTest, Robot Framework, Unittest, or custom automation frameworks.\nStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) and design patterns.\nExperience with automation framework development from scratch.\nGood knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.\nExperience with Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills.\nExposure to firmware testing and validation methodologies.\nFirmware Validation Skills\nFirmware feature validation and regression testing.\nBIOS, BMC, UEFI, CPLD, or Embedded Firmware validation.\nFirmware upgrade/downgrade validation.\nPlatform bring-up and system validation.\nLog analysis and issue debugging.\nUnderstanding of server platform architecture.\nPreferred Skills\nServer Platform Validation experience.\nAPI automation (Redfish/IPMI).\nShell/Bash scripting.\nKnowledge of hardware interfaces such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, UART.\nExperience in CI/CD automation environments.\nWhat we believe:\nWe’re proud to embrace the same values that have shaped UST since the beginning.
