You Are:

UST is searching for a Full Stack Software Developer with strong expertise in Node.js, AWS cloud technologies, modern application architecture to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications.

The opportunity:

·Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using Node.js.

·Build and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Lambda, Step Functions, AWS Batch, ECS/Fargate, and API Gateway.

·Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management.

·Design, optimize, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data integrity.

·Develop, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and container orchestration platforms such as AWS ECS/Fargate.

·Collaborate with frontend teams to build responsive user interfaces using React, or work with data engineering teams to develop data pipelines and processing solutions.

·Integrate backend services, databases, and third-party APIs to support business requirements.

··Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, reliability, and security in cloud environments.

·Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions and best practices.

·Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

·Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and environment management.

·Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

·Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, and compliance requirements.

··Support production deployments and resolve critical issues in a timely manner.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location:Remote - Canada

Compensation Range: $95,000-$119,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
