The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across the full application stack, cloud-native architectures, and modern web technologies, with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and Spring boot.\nBuild, maintain, and consume RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices supporting enterprise-scale digital platforms.\nDevelop responsive, accessible, and high-performing user interfaces following modern UX and engineering best practices.\nImplement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS, containerization technologies, and Kubernetes.\nOwn features throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical design to deployment and production support.\n\nCollaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Architects, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver business value.\n\nParticipate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning activities.\n\nEnsure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance standards.\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across frontend, backend, cloud, and infrastructure layers.\n\nBuild, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and DevOps best practices.\n\nImplement automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.\n\nContribute to platform modernization initiatives, cloud migration efforts, and engineering process improvements.\n\nConduct code reviews and mentor junior developers to promote engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.\nStay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve development efficiency and product quality.\nLeverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar AI assistants to improve developer productivity, code quality, troubleshooting, documentation, testing, and day-to-day engineering activities.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n5-8 years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js, Node.js and Spring boot.\nExperience designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs and microservices.\nStrong understanding of frontend development concepts, application architecture, performance optimization, and responsive design.\nHands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment.\nExperience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and source control systems such as GitHub.\nStrong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nMinimum 1+ years of experience using AI-powered development tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude or similar tools, with demonstrated ability to leverage AI for code generation, testing, debugging, documentation, and day-to-day development productivity.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience building and supporting enterprise-scale, customer-facing applications.\nExperience working across Java/Spring Boot and Node.js-based microservices.\nExperience with event-driven architectures and technologies such as Apache Kafka.\nStrong knowledge of relational/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.\nExperience with AWS cloud-native architecture and highly available distributed applications.\nExperience with observability and monitoring solutions such as New Relic or CloudWatch.\nExperience with DevSecOps practices, security scanning tools, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to own complex features end-to-end, contribute to technical design/code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.\n\nAWS certification is an added advantage.\n\nWhat we believe:\nWe’re proud to embrace the same values that have shaped UST since the beginning.
