Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. Establish best practices, reusable patterns, and technical standards for future SAP BDC implementations. Ensure data quality, performance, security, and operational requirements are maintained throughout the migration. Conduct technical impact assessments and identify risks, issues, and mitigation plans. Support integration with SAP and non-SAP source systems where required. Produce technical documentation, architecture artefacts, and implementation recommendations following completion of the pilot.Essential Skills & Experience\nStrong experience delivering data engineering and integration solutions within SAP environments. Experience working with SAP Business Data Cloud (SAP BDC), SAP Datasphere, or closely related SAP data platforms. \nProven experience delivering data migration, platform modernisation, or cloud transformation projects. \nStrong knowledge of data integration, ETL/ELT, data modelling, and analytics data pipelines. \nExperience working with SAP source systems, including a good understanding of SAP ERP and SAP data structures. \nAbility to lead technical design workshops and engage effectively with senior stakeholders. Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Databricks experience essentialDesirable\nExperience delivering proof-of-concepts, pilots, or technology evaluations. Experience with cloud-native data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems.
