The role owns end-to-end delivery of models and data science deliverables, provides technical guidance to a team of data scientists and analysts, and acts as the primary data science point of contact for client stakeholders.\nWhat You’ll Do\n··Lead problem-framing and requirement-gathering sessions with product owners and business stakeholders, and translate needs into data science solutions.\n··Own the design, development, validation and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytical solutions with minimal supervision. \n·Drive feature engineering, statistical analysis and experimentation (A/B testing, hypothesis testing) across large, multi-source datasets. \n·Guide and review the work of junior data scientists; ensure adherence to coding, model documentation and delivery standards. \n·Define model evaluation metrics, monitoring frameworks and retraining strategies in partnership with business and engineering teams. \n··Present model outcomes, insights and recommendations to senior client stakeholders, driving data-informed decisions.\n·Manage delivery timelines, effort estimation and status reporting for the data science workstream. \n·Ensure compliance with client data security, privacy, model governance and regulatory standards (including HIPAA/PHI handling where applicable).\nThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.\nWhat You Need\n··Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline.\n·6–9 years of experience in data science, machine learning or advanced analytics, including team/workstream leadership. \n·Strong hands-on expertise in Python (and/or R) and SQL for model development and data manipulation. \n·Proven experience with ML libraries and frameworks (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow/PyTorch) and end-to-end model deployment. \n·Solid understanding of statistical modelling, supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation and data modelling concepts. \n··Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex models to senior client stakeholders directly.\n·Must be authorized to work in the USA and available to work from the client location. \n·Preferred / Value-Add \n·Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI) and modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks). \n·Exposure to MLOps practices — model deployment via Flask/REST API, CI/CD, model monitoring. \n··Exposure to US healthcare / payer domain data and analytics.
