Visit us at UST.com. \n Summary: \nUST is looking for a Data Engineering professional with 3–6 years (5+ years preferred) of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and robust data solutions.\nThe Opportunity: \nDesign, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data. · Perform data integration, transformation, validation, and data-quality activities. · Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient data-engineering solutions. · Troubleshoot data pipeline, data integration, and performance-related issues. · Collaborate with business, analytics, application, and data teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. · Follow best practices for data quality, reliability, security, scalability, and performance. · Work effectively in Agile/Scrum environments and communicate technical solutions clearly.\n What you need: \n3–6 years (5+ years preferred) of experience in Data Engineering, data processing, and development of scalable data solutions. ·· Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and database concepts. ·· Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. ·· Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with analytics and application teams.\nRequired Skills: \nData Engineering & ETL/ELT workflow development ·· Python programming/scripting for data processing and automation ·· Advanced SQL and data querying techniques ·· Data integration, transformation, and validation ·· Working with structured and unstructured data sources\n Desired Skills: \nCloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) ·· Data platforms and tools (Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, Informatica, etc.) ·· Orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow ·· CI/CD and version-control practices for data engineering ·· Agile/Scrum work environment experience\n\n Qualification: \nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).\nWhat we believe:\nWe’re proud to embrace the same values that have shaped UST since the beginning.
