Key Responsibilities\nDefine and own the overall performance testing strategy, approach, and framework across projects, including elicitation of non-functional requirements, SLA formalization with stakeholders, and realistic workload modeling\nLead the design and development of complex performance test scripts and scenarios based on business and technical requirements\nPrepare, manage, and validate high-volume, production-like test data across multiple modules and environments, including large-scale data construction, backup-restore, and replication where needed\nExecute and oversee load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability testing using industry-standard tools\nWrite and optimize complex DB queries to validate data integrity and analyze backend/database performance\nConduct deep-dive root-cause analysis on performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers\nAnalyze and correlate results across tools, and present detailed performance reports with clear, actionable recommendations to leadership\nCollaborate closely with architects, developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues and drive system tuning\nIntegrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous performance validation\nMentor and guide junior/mid-level engineers on performance testing best practices and tools\nProactively identify risks, track dependencies, escalate blockers early, and provide timely, clear status updates to stakeholders\nContinuously evaluate and recommend improvements to performance testing tools, processes, and frameworks Required Skills & Qualifications\nBachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field\n10+ years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering\nStrong expertise in JMeter and LoadRunner (exposure to other tools such as NeoLoad is a plus)\nAdvanced proficiency in SQL and the ability to write and optimize complex DB queries\nSolid understanding of application architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and microservices\nStrong experience with monitoring and APM tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Grafana, AppDynamics, Dynatrace)\nExperience integrating performance tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills\nProven ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive tasks to closure with minimal supervision\nExperience mentoring and
