The ideal candidate has extensive experience with mainframe technologies and healthcare data systems, preferably within the Plan environment.\nWhat You’ll Do\n·Provide technical leadership for ITS-related mainframe applications supporting plan-to-plan data exchange.\n··Design and implement robust mainframe solutions for enhancements to meet business requirements from partner plans.\n··Troubleshoot complex system issues across the mainframe environment.\n·Optimize mainframe performance and resource utilization.\n·Provide on-call production support based on assigned shifts.\n·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mainframe systems with modern platforms.\n·Ensure system compliance with healthcare data security standards.\n··Document system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.\nThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.\nWhat You Need\nRequired\n·12+ years of experience with IBM mainframe systems (z/OS, MVS).\n·Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and scheduling.\n··Strong experience in mainframe application support, including analysis, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.\n··Knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, etc.).\n·Experience with healthcare data processing.\n·Familiarity with mainframe DevOps practices.\n·Understanding of healthcare EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277).\nPreferred\n·Familiarity with inter-plan data exchange protocols and systems.\n··Experience with API integration between mainframe and distributed systems.\n··Deeper understanding of ITS custom claim formats SF, DF, and RF.\nLocation & Compensation\nCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
