Experience working with HIPAA-compliant data environments is highly desirable.\nWhat You’ll Do\n··Design, develop, and maintain visually compelling Power BI reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.\n·Translate business requirements into data models and meaningful metrics. \n·Connect to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Excel, cloud services, etc.) and build data models using Power Query and DAX.\n·Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and subject matter experts in the healthcare domain.\n·Ensure reports adhere to performance, usability, and accessibility best practices.\n··Validate and reconcile data across systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity. \n·Document report logic, data definitions, and visual elements for knowledge sharing and compliance. \n·Work within healthcare regulatory requirements such as HIPAA to manage sensitive data responsibly.\nThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.\nWhat You Need\n··6 - 10 years of experience developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.\n·Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and data modelling techniques.\n·Solid understanding of healthcare data, such as claims, eligibility, member/provider data, or clinical data.\n·Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL) and writing T-SQL. \n··Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA, PHI).\n·Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. \n·Preferred Qualifications: \n·Experience with EDI X12 (e.g., 837, 835, 270/271) or FHIR/HL7 healthcare data formats. Exposure to Azure Data Platform (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI Service).\n·Background in working with large datasets and optimizing performance in Power BI. \n··Familiarity with Agile development and tools like Jira, DevOps Boards, or Confluence.\n·Microsoft certification in Power BI (e.g., PL-300 or DA-100) is a plus.\nLocation & Compensation\nCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
