We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of the implementation and migration program. The role will coordinate cross-functional teams across MSD Services and Corporate IT/Enterprise Data Platform teams to ensure the transformation is delivered to agreed scope, schedule, budget and quality. The role requires strong technology transformation and migration experience, with sufficient knowledge of cloud and modern data platforms to effectively manage technical teams, risks and dependencies. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Project Planning & Governance\nOwn the integrated implementation and migration plan, including milestones, dependencies, resources and critical path.\nEstablish project governance, RACI, delivery cadence and executive reporting.\nMaintain RAID, decision and change-control processes.\nTrack delivery against scope, schedule, budget and agreed outcomes.\nManage resource and capacity requirements across participating teams. Implementation & Migration Delivery\nCoordinate readiness of the Data Platform for production workloads.\nLead planning and execution of D2i (device telemetry) and BI/data warehouse migrations.\nEstablish migration waves, priorities, entry/exit criteria and delivery milestones.\nCoordinate activities across Prepare, Design, Plan, Migrate, Go Live and Aftercare.\nManage testing, data reconciliation, UAT, defect resolution and production readiness.\nOwn integrated cutover planning, migration runbooks and go/no-go governance.\nCoordinate legacy decommissioning following successful migration. Stakeholder & Dependency Management\nAct as the central coordination point across MSD Services, EDP/Corporate IT and technical teams.\nManage cross-team dependencies, decisions, risks and escalations.\nFacilitate planning sessions, delivery reviews and steering meetings.\nProvide clear and concise status reporting to senior leadership.\nEnsure business continuity and stakeholder requirements are considered throughout migration. Operational Transition\nEnsure operational readiness is incorporated into migration planning.\nCoordinate documentation, runbooks and knowledge transfer.\nManage handover to the long-term Run & Maintain / DevOps organization.\nEnsure appropriate support and monitoring arrangements are established before go-live. Key Skills & Experience Essential\n8+ years project/program management experience delivering complex enterprise technology transformations.\nDemonstrated experience leading data, cloud, data warehouse or application migration programs.\nStrong project planning, critical-path, dependency and risk-management skills.\nExperience managing multi-workstream programs with distributed/onshore-offshore delivery teams.\nStrong financial, resource and delivery management capability.\nProven experience managing testing, production cutover and operational transition.\nStrong stakeholder management across business, engineering and enterprise IT organizations.\nAbility to drive accountability and delivery across teams without direct organizational authority. Technical Knowledge Sufficient technical knowledge to effectively manage and challenge engineering teams, preferably covering:\nModern data platforms / Lakehouse architecture.\nDatabricks and AWS or comparable technologies.\nData lakes, data warehouses and ETL/ELT.\nData migration, testing and reconciliation.\nCI/CD and DevOps.\nData governance, security and data quality. Technical architecture or engineering expertise is not required; the role is accountable for successful program delivery. Key Measures of Success\nDelivery against agreed scope, schedule and budget.\nSuccessful migration of D2i and BI workloads.\nPredictable milestones, resource requirements and financial forecasts.\nEffective management of cross-team dependencies and risks.\nProduction cutovers with minimal business/customer disruption.\nSuccessful operational handover and knowledge transfer.\nControlled retirement of legacy capabilities following migration.
