Visit us at UST.com. \nThe Opportunity:\nUST is looking for Python Automation framework Developer.\nJob Requirements\nSoftware Design & Architecture\nStrong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns (creational, structural, behavioral).\nAbility to design modular, maintainable, and scalable systems.\nProgramming Languages:\nProficiency in: Python\nFamiliarity with advanced language features and best practices.\nNice to Have: Experience in Powershell, YAML, C++, Rust\nToolchain & Packaging\nGit, Visual Studio/Visual Studio Code\nHands-on experience with modern Python packaging tools (e.g., Poetry, uv).\nKnowledge of semantic versioning, lock files, and dependency pinning for reproducible builds.\nExperience with virtual environments and multi-version compatibility strategies.\nRelease Engineering\nExpertise in CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) for packaging and release automation.\nAbility to implement validation gates, automated unit/integration tests, and branching strategies with governance for API changes.\nEmbedded Systems & Communication Protocols\nExposure to embedded systems development and debugging.\nFamiliarity with communication protocols such as Serial (UART) and SSH.\n• Experience using libraries like Paramiko for secure remote operations.\nInfrastructure & Deployment\nUnderstanding of Python acquisition and installation strategies across platforms (Windows/Linux).\n• Ability to integrate packaging and release workflows into enterprise environments securely.\nSecurity & Compliance\nAwareness of secure coding practices and compliance requirements during packaging and release.\n• Ability to mitigate risks related to sensitive data in logs and build artifacts.\nSoft Skills\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nCurious to learn with a growth mindset, continuously seeking ways to improve\nUnderstand the needs of customers and deliver to expectations, always seeking to provide positive customer experience\n• Take ownership of decisions, actions, and results, holding accountability for deliverables and commitments\nQualification:\nBTech in ECE/Computer Science 5+ Years of experience\nWhat we believe:\nWe’re proud to embrace the same values that have shaped UST since the beginning.
