Visit us at .\nSummary:\nUST is looking for SDET / Engineer with solid experience in both software development and testing.\nRole Overview:\nWe are looking for a strong SDET / Engineer with solid experience in both software development and testing. The ideal candidate should be comfortable writing production-quality code, building automation frameworks, developing automated tests, and contributing to overall product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks and automated test suites.\nContribute hands-on to both application development and test engineering activities.\nDevelop clean, maintainable, and reusable code following software engineering best practices.\nAutomate functional, integration, regression, API, and end-to-end testing.\nCollaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and other stakeholders.Review requirements and technical designs to identify test scenarios, risks, and quality considerations early in the development lifecycle.Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of application and automation issues.Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test execution and feedback cycles.Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvements in development and testing practices.Required Skills\nStrong programming skills in Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar programming language.Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Hands-on experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, or equivalent.Strong experience in API testing and automation.Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP concepts, JSON, and web technologies.Experience with unit, integration, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.What we believe:\nWe’re proud to embrace the same values that have shaped UST since the beginning.
