You’ll play a key role in shaping the technical foundations, delivering new functionality and ensuring the platform remains performant, scalable and maintainable.\nThis is a hands-on development role with the opportunity to provide technical leadership and mentoring within the wider Android team.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nShape Android architecture - Influence architectural decisions and establish best practices for modern, scalable and high-performing Android applications.Build modern mobile experiences - Design and develop feature-rich, white-label Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.Create adaptive UI experiences - Build intuitive interfaces optimised across phones, tablets and different screen sizes.Drive quality and performance - Troubleshoot complex issues, optimise performance and support reliable production applications.Champion engineering standards - Conduct code reviews and promote clean, maintainable and testable code.Strengthen automated testing - Implement robust unit and UI testing to improve application reliability.Collaborate across product and UX - Work closely with Product Owners, UX teams and other stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions.Provide technical leadership - Share best practices and mentor junior developers within the team.\nWork within an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting continuous delivery through modern CI/CD practices.\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nYou’ll bring strong hands-on Android engineering experience, ideally including:\nStrong commercial development experience with Kotlin\nHands-on expertise with Jetpack Compose\nStrong understanding of the Android ecosystem and application architecture\nExperience developing modern, customer-facing mobile applications\nStrong knowledge of adaptive/responsive UI development across mobile and tablet devices\nExperience with unit testing and UI automation testing\nStrong understanding of application performance optimisation and production support\nExperience with Git, CI/CD and Azure DevOps\nStrong problem-solving and solutioning skillsExperience working within Agile/Scrum development teamsConfidence working with
