The ideal candidate will have strong business-facing skills combined with hands-on experience analyzing data, defining migration requirements, and supporting the movement of data from legacy/source systems to target platforms.\nThe opportunity:\n·Engage with business stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, data usage, and reporting needs\n·Lead requirements gathering and facilitate discussions between business and technology teams\n·Analyze source and target systems to understand data structures, relationships, dependencies, and constraints\n·Define and document source-to-target mappings, business rules, transformation logic, and data migration requirements\n·Identify data quality issues, gaps, anomalies, duplicates, and migration risks and work with stakeholders to determine remediation approaches\n·Perform data analysis and profiling using SQL and related tools\n··Work closely with Data Engineers/ETL teams supporting migration and transformation activities\n·Support data reconciliation and validation to ensure completeness and accuracy following migration\n·Define business acceptance criteria and support SIT/UAT and post-migration validation\n·Analyze downstream impacts of migrated data, particularly for Tableau reporting and analytics\n·Work within a data environment involving Snowflake, IBM DataStage, and Tableau\n·Clearly communicate complex data issues, constraints, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.\nWhat you need:\n·7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Migration Specialist, preferably within large enterprise environments\n·Strong experience with end-to-end data migration / system conversion projects\n·Excellent requirements elicitation and stakeholder management skills\n·Strong understanding of source-to-target mapping, data transformation, data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation\n··Strong SQL and analytical skills\n··Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, IBM DataStage or comparable ETL/data integration platforms and Tableau is a plus\n·Deep understanding of reporting and downstream data dependencies\n·Ability to identify and articulate data constraints, dependencies, risks, and business impacts\n·Strong documentation and communication skills\n··Financial services/banking experience would be an asset\nCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.\nRole Location: Ontario\nCompensation Range: $104,000-$130,000\nBenefits\nFull-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.\nFull-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).
