# Senior Scrum Master

Senior Scrum Master The Role The Scrum Master is responsible for being a Coach, Facilitator and Servant Leader for their assigned Agile Scrum team(s) within the P&T Transformation Management teams. This role will be able to apply SAFe principles when facilitating, enabling and coaching aligned teams. The Scrum Master ensures that the agreed upon agile processes are being followed by the team and creates balance with the Product Owner and the Technical Product Manager. Foremost, they are a servant leader and ensures the team has the resources they need, are shielded from distractions and interruptions and works to remove impediments along the way. The Sr. Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating PI planning and sprint planning sessions, budget and sprint status reporting (burn/churn/velocity/etc) fully leveraging the TMO sprint management tools. Lastly this role requires a passion for continual improvement, and makes recommendations for process optimization as influenced by iteration retrospectives and team feedback.
