The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and compliant system solutions. This role requires deep functional knowledge of the Healthcare Payer domain, particularly within Broker and Shopper platforms, along with hands-on experience in access control design, authorization frameworks, and Agile delivery environments.\nWhat You’ll Do \nGather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements from stakeholders.\nTranslate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and use cases.\nConduct current-state and future-state assessments to identify business gaps and improvement opportunities.\nPerform impact analysis and provide recommendations for system enhancements and process improvements.\nMaintain end-to-end requirements traceability throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).\nDesign, implement, and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models aligned with organizational policies and business workflows.\nDefine roles, permissions, entitlements, and access matrices across applications and data domains.\nCollaborate with Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Architecture teams to ensure secure and compliant access management.\nSupport audits, compliance reviews, and governance activities related to user access and authorization controls.\nEvaluate access management requirements and recommend scalable authorization solutions.\nApply strong knowledge of Healthcare Payer operations, specifically Broker and Shopper platforms.\nSupport business processes related to quoting, enrollment, plan selection, eligibility, and member journeys.\nEnsure solutions align with healthcare regulatory, privacy, and security requirements.\nCollaborate with business teams to optimize healthcare workflows and user experiences.\nPartner with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA, Security, and Operations teams throughout project delivery.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.\nSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional validation, and defect triage activities.\nFacilitate stakeholder workshops and requirement review sessions.\n• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations effectively to business and technical teams.\nThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.\nWhat You Need\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Business, or a related field.\n9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.\nStrong experience in RBAC modeling, access control frameworks, and authorization design.\nExpertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and system documentation.\nSolid knowledge of Healthcare Payer, Broker, and Shopper domains.\nExperience supporting enterprise-scale, security-sensitive applications.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.\n• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nPreferred\nExperience with IAM solutions such as Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, or similar platforms.\nKnowledge of healthcare compliance and data protection standards.\nFamiliarity with UML, workflow modeling, process mapping, and business analysis tools.\nCBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications preferred.\n• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.\nKey Skills\nAuthentication and Authorization, Business Analysis, Compliance Management, Microsoft Entra ID, Requirements Gathering, Insurance, Identity and Access Management, Risk Management, Process Documentation, SailPoint\nLocation & Compensation\nCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
