The role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, issue ownership, and cross-functional coordination.\nWhat You’ll Do\n·Lead and mentor engineers supporting platform bring-up, debug, and validation.\n··Own server hardware assembly, configuration, testing, and platform readiness.\n·Manage Linux, Windows, VMware, drivers, and system configurations.\n·Lead BIOS, BMC, CPLD, firmware, VR, and chipset flashing/debug activities.\n·Drive issue triage, root cause analysis (RCA), resolution, and technical escalations.\n·Coordinate across hardware, firmware, software, and systems engineering teams.\n··Oversee rack & stack, networking, storage, and structured cabling activities.\n·Track technical risks, dependencies, issues, and overall delivery status.\n·Develop and improve debug tools, procedures, documentation, and automation.\n·Support customer escalations and ensure timely closure of platform issues.\nThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.\nWhat You Need\n·Strong knowledge of server architecture, hardware, OS, firmware, and platform bring-up.\n·Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, VMware, BIOS/BMC/firmware debugging.\n·Strong troubleshooting, system validation, and RCA skills.\n·Experience leading technical teams and managing cross-functional activities.\n··Strong program ownership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n··Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced lab environment.\n·Strong communication skills and proven ability to quickly learn new technologies.\n·Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or experience on related field.\n·8+ years of experience in Data Center Server lab technician/validation & Debug.\n··Familiarity with hardware assembling, racking & stacking.\n··This is a full-time onsite role at the client lab site.\n·Work may be performed in a high-noise environment; noise-cancelling equipment may be required.\n·This role will require 24/7 support model, which may require to work in different shifts and weekends (40 Hrs / week).\nLocation & Compensation\nCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.
