We are committed to removing barriers and creating opportunities for ALL to participate.\nThe Role\nAs a Senior Coordinator, Social Media Content, you will\nWork closely with the team to assist in creating and publishing platform-specific content while ensuring brand voice is maintained across channels. This includes live tournament coverage around the tennis calendar. \nManage campaigns and collaborate internally around various US Open initiatives, including theme art, media day, food & beverage, and merchandise\nFollow social media best practices by platform; optimize content for each social platform in terms of sizing, relevance, and timing.\nAssist fellow content producers and take part in regular brainstorming and pitch sessions.\nMaintain a clean, organized content calendar for the broader social media team. \nMaintain quality control procedures and ensure all copy is fact-checked and images are brand-appropriate while adhering to brand standards and established voice across platforms.\nDetail the success of social media campaigns by analyzing key metrics to drive new and existing strategies.\nMonitor conversations with fans, brands, and influencers for intentional engagement opportunities.\nEnsure all content is properly tagged (e.g., handles, hashtags, tracking tags, geo-location, etc.) and correct links are used.\nHelp grow reach and engagement across US Open & USTA social media platforms, with a focus on pro tennis and US Open content.\nLeverage data to make or adjust content for improved performance.\nOther duties as assigned. \nWho You Are\nBachelor’s degree or degree in progress\n3-5 years of experience in social media and/or digital marketing.\nStrength in real-time storytelling content across social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, X, and TikTok.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work cooperatively, creatively, and efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nKnowledgeable about professional tennis, the US Open, entertainment & pop culture; experience in professional sports is helpful. \nStrong content editing and creation skills are a plus, utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro, WSC Software, Slate, and Content Management Systems.\nAvailable to work nights & weekends as needed. \nAvailable to travel domestically and internationally as assigned \nAvailable to work in-person for the duration of the US Open Tennis Championships in Flushing Meadows, NY. \nThis position is designated as \"hybrid/flex\" in New York City, and may allow for both remote and on-site work. Any such position must meet the current USTA hybrid/flex requirements as updated from time to time.
