Join us and become part of a growing organization where your contributions make a meaningful impact.\nWe are looking for a qualified, local Director - OSP Construction.\n\nThe Director - OSP Construction will support our Telecommunications Division in the market. This role will be responsible for leading and executing OSP construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and in alignment with company goals and quality standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop/implement our end-to-end construction model to standardize our processes/systems and approach/tracking;\nOversee construction field operations with supervision and oversight of in-house crews, subcontractors, and inspection activities;\nRecruit, manage, and grow our OSP Construction team;\nIdentify additional subcontractors/resources to support various construction projects and oversee their quality and schedule;\nEffectively and frequently communicate expectations to external vendors and internal team members;\nManage and develop our construction vendor relationships & strategic partnerships;\nWork with Utilities One bids and proposals team to lead the effort when responding to RFPs;\nLead Utilities One managers for all technical and operational issues, to internal or external personnel or inquiries;\nCultivate a working relationship with customers to identify and support project requirements and ensure efficient processes are in place;\nWork on improving our Construction Processes, Program Management, Operational Support Practices, and Financial Performance.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nMinimum 7-9 years of experience in telecommunications, including both inside and outside plant (ISP/OSP) operations, with in-depth knowledge of network design, construction, and installation practices;\nStrong understanding of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in fiber and telecom infrastructure;\nProven ability to lead and develop teams of individual contributors toward achieving departmental and organizational objectives ;\nDemonstrated expertise in project budget management, scheduling, and progress tracking;\nExcellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with internal departments, contractors, and external partners;\nComprehensive understanding of network topologies, including switching, access, and transport layers;\nA
