Join us and become part of a growing organization where your contributions make a meaningful impact.\nWe are looking for a qualified, localField Project Manager.\nThe Field Project Manager is responsible for daily field execution, vendor oversight, and operational coordination of assigned construction projects. This role ensures crews and subcontractors are properly prepared, compliant, productive, and aligned with client, municipal, and company standards.\nServing as the on-site operational leader, this position bridges field teams, vendors, management, and external stakeholders to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans.\nKey Responsibilities\n Project Review & Pre-Construction Readiness\nReview assigned projects for scope, constructability, and sequencing.\nConduct pre-construction walkouts with vendors and internal teams.\nVerify locate ticket status and ensure valid locates are in place prior to excavation.\nIssue required 48-hour notices.\nCoordinate specialty services as needed (GPR, core drilling, line adjustments, FDOT scheduling, etc.).\nConfirm permits, traffic control requirements (MOT), and jurisdictional approvals are secured before work begins.\nIdentify potential field conflicts early and coordinate resolution with engineering and management.\n Daily Field Coordination & Vendor Oversight\nMeet with foremen/vendors daily to review work plans, expectations, and job sequencing.\nMonitor GPM check-ins and ensure production is accurately entered and updated.\nEnsure vendors and crews:Have required documentation and certifications \nAre properly equipped for assigned work\nFollow approved construction methods and specifications\n\nVerify proper crew assignment based on work type (aerial, underground, boring).\nEnforce approved work-hour restrictions per jurisdiction.\nConfirm crews are working in logical order aligned with locates and permits.\nCoordinate daily MOT needs and communicate requirements to management.\n Field Execution, Quality & Compliance\nConduct ongoing site inspections to verify quality and adherence to plans.\nEnsure compliance with:Required drilling practices (potholing, drain sock use, proper depths, DAP procedures, etc.)\nUnderground depth requirements \nAerial attachment standards and HOA requirements \nSafety regulations and PPE compliance\n\nPerform QA/QC checks on assigned projects.\nEnsure restoration requirements are completed properly.\nConfirm timely completion of assigned production units (“gigs”).\nTroubleshooting & Issue Resolution\nServe as the first-line problem solver for field challenges.\nAssist crews in resolving technical issues and unexpected conditions.\nCoordinate map discrepancies and field changes with engineering.\nInvestigate and report damages; assist with resolution and documentation.\nMaintain proactive communication when plans require adjustment.\nEscalate critical concerns to OPM or Director when necessary.\n Reporting & Documentation\nSubmit required daily and project reporting including:End-of-shift reports (EOS) \nDamage reports \nMOT updates \nQA/QC documentation\n\nKeep GPM updated with production, rejections, corrections, and completions.\nEnsure project documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner.\nStakeholder Communication & Representation\nCommunicate daily with management, clients, cities, and jurisdictions as required.\nAttend coordination meetings when assigned.\nRelay updates, expectations, and changes to field crews promptly.\nAddress homeowner or public concerns professionally and coordinate resolution.\nRepresent the company as the on-site operational leader.\nResource & Operational Support\nMonitor material availability and notify OPM when inventory is insufficient.\nEnsure traffic control requests are submitted and executed properly.\nSupport yard organization and equipment readiness.\nAssist in developing field crews through training and reinforcement of standards.\nAuthority & Accountability\n\nThe Field Project Management / Field Project Manager is accountable for:\nDaily field execution and productivity\nVendor and crew compliance with construction standards\nSafety and permit adherence\nAccurate reporting and documentation\nTimely completion of assigned production goals\nOther duties as assigned.\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\nA valid, unrestricted Driver's License;\nStrong knowledge of aerial and underground design and construction requirements as they relate to the customer and any governmental guidelines;\nAbility to lift around 50 pounds, safely climb ladders, and work in extreme weather;\nAbility to read and understand maps,
